According to the recent announcement, Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) will soon be available for Walmart Canada sellers. The service is an Amazon FBA equivalent and allows sellers to store products in Walmart warehouses. Walmart also takes care of picking, packing, sending the item, and handling returns if there are any. Additionally, all products enlisted to WFS will have a 2-day shipping badge assigned which can significantly increase sales and conversion. Walmart hopes that the WFS will repeat its success from the US market, where it is very popular among sellers.

Currently, Walmart Canada WFS will be available to sellers based in Canada. However, anybody can fill out this form to request access to Canadian WFS. Surely, the service will not be implemented before the Holidays, but Walmart should onboard the first sellers at the beginning of next year.

Walmart Canda WFS’s key features include:

  1. Fast Walmart’s 2-day shipping, which will be available to more than 95% of Canadian shoppers.
  2. Customer support and returns are managed by Walmart, including an option for customers to return Marketplace purchases in-store, following Walmart’s standard returns policy.
  3. No inventory requirements or minimums to participate – sellers of all sizes can join Walmart Fulfilment Services.

Walmart Canada is a fast-growing marketplace with a quickly increasing number of sellers and shoppers. Walmart Canada WFS introduces a new fulfillment quality for both. It can also immensely simplify shipping and business management in general.
